I've been playing with different techniques and having fun with it. Doves and other birds seem to show up in many of my paintings. I sometimes get requests for paintings with ravens. I just don't think it would be fair to myself to paint what others want instead of expressing who I am. But I have always loved this poem, and it mentions a raven:
