Joy Dragonfly
8 x 5
acrylic on wood
sealed and ready to hang

This is an idea I got from the writer Julia Cameron, but I phrased it in my own way. My daughter's digital arts teacher has taught her to pay attention. God Bless that woman! I remember when I was about 12 years old, and my dad and I were getting in the car together. As we were driving out the driveway, my dad asked me if I noticed anything different. I looked and looked, but noticed nothing. He finally said, "The daffodils are just beginning to sprout." I was amazed that he had noticed. I've been paying better attention ever since.

"I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing"
acrylic on vinyl record and wood

This idea just came to me, and I think it really turned out well.

I am busy and productive with my art, and beginning to plan my shows for next year. I'm looking ahead with great anticipation.

Dancing Anyway
9 x 20
acrylic on wood

Here is a flapper dancing the Charleston and being liberated - or "modern" as they called it back then.

The Creator has not given you a longing to do that which you have no ability to do.
