Remembering
10 x 15
mixed media on wood
SOLD

I do like to put bits of poetry on my work. This is another with the wings theme. Can't seem to get away from that lately, although I'm not sure what it means. I have a friend that read some of my poems once. She said, "I'm particularly drawn to your women's poetry. We need lots more of it to make up for all we have forgotten." That idea really stuck with me. Apparently, it has popped up on this piece.

Flower Speak

These are my words. This piece, minus the words, is my new business card.

The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common.

"Get Real"
acrylic on recycled window
SOLD

This is the Bird family of Richmond, Virginia. The woman in the pink shirt in the center is starting a non-profit shelter. Her daughter, the woman in the black shirt and white pants, bought this window for her as a business warming gift. It is wonderful to know that this window will go on to do good works where it hangs. God is good!
