Connoisseur's Collection
acrylic and collage on wood
SOLD

I love using little scraps of paper to add interest to a piece. It adds the element of the unexpected. I've been very prolific lately, in order to restock after good sale days. I think the economy is beginning to recover!

Why Limit Happy To An Hour
SOLD
Available as an 11 x 14 inch print
Contact me at drpeggy@sc.rr.com to purchase

My daughter's high school graduation was last night. We had a ton of people and fun and love and food flowing through our house afterwards, so I thought this painting was appropriate. We are truly blessed and so very proud of our little Dixie Star. She's all grown up and heading off to Anderson University in the Fall.

Sun Box
14 x 10 x 3.5 inches
acrylic on wood wine box
SOLD

I found this wine box made of wood and decided to make it beautiful. It would make a good jewelry box. I've always loved things with lids since I was a kid, so painting this was a trip! It's Memorial Day weekend, so it promises to be busy here in Myrtle Beach. Hope you all are having fun wherever you are!

Pink Shell Mermaid

Even the shells are reclaimed/recycled on this piece. I grabbed them before they were put into the trash by someone. This is one of my personal favorites.

Wise Woman

Sometimes it is good to be reminded of all the things we strive for in life. None of them would be possible without grace.

"And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace."

We had a wonderful time in Richmond at Arts in the Park this past weekend. Lots of art went home with new adopted families, and we got to make people smile and laugh a little through the heat. It's a blessing.

Garland of Grace

I love the way "The Message Bible" translates certain scriptures. It makes them simple. Gotta love that. This is one that strikes my fancy.
