I found this wine box made of wood and decided to make it beautiful. It would make a good jewelry box. I've always loved things with lids since I was a kid, so painting this was a trip! Here is another one of my "freeform" pieces. This one has some of my own words on it: "Music is how we wash the soul and feed the Spirit." They are so much fun to conceive. They just seem to have a life of their own as they develop. I call it the "dance of the brush."

The older I get, the more I realize that there is so much inside all of us. There truly is a river flowing within. I don't want to leave this earth with my music still inside me.
