Love Lifted Me
approx 6 x 10 inches
acrylic on wood
safety coated to hang outdoors, kitchen, bath
sides painted, no need to frame
SOLD

I'm only familiar with the Kenny Rogers song called "Love Lifted Me." But my daughter tells me it's an old Baptist hymn that is sung at her school all the time.

Thought for the Day:
God reached down from on high and took hold of me; God drew me out of deep waters.
~Psalm 18:16

sides painted, no need for a frame

Here's another piece painted at the House of Blues. I seem to paint very well there ~ perhaps it's because I stay focused. I thought about calling this one "Ain't Nothin' Like Momma" but since the word "ain't" was like a cuss word in my house when I was growing up, I refrained!

I got the most wonderful e-mail from a customer yesterday, and I thought I'd share it with you:

Hey Peggy,

Just took a peek at your page today. I love the Lilacs and must have it! The fact that I can display it outside; you must have been reading my mind, cause that is what I have been looking for.

I tried to leave a comment on your site, but I am not Mrs. Google and don't know how to navigate. Please let me know the next step to purchasing.

I praise the Lord for blessing you with an incredible gift of painting. The joy in your heart shows through your work; I see a beautiful freedom in your spirit.

God Bless you my sister,

T.

My husband has told me about the woman who cared for him as a child growing up in Myrtle Beach. Her name was Armatha. He says she was chubby and fun, and wore a red bandana. He says her lap was endless. This reminds me of God. We are never too old to climb into God's lap.

This is another in my tree series. This one has wonderful texture and is done with silver, gold, and copper metallic paints. It's hanging at Pop's Glass in Conway. Sometimes we all need a reminder to make love a priority in our lives, and to reach for it. "Shower the people you love with love" today.
